Kuwait City :Kala (Art) Kuwait “NIRAM 2020” Children’s Day painting competition associated with “American
Tourister” has concluded with the prize distribution to all winners at Indian Embassy on Tuesday,
29 th December 2020 at 4 pm. H. E. Mr. Sibi George, The Ambassador of India to Kuwait, has presented mementos, medals, certificates and gifts to all winners.The Painting competition Niram – 2020 was conducted at Online Platform on 13 th November 2020 on the occasion of the birthday of late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of Independent India. It is worthwhile to note that students of different nationalities from all 24 Indian Schools in Kuwait with active participation of more than 2800 children in the competition. Thecompetition was held in four groups in drawing, painting and clay sculpture.H. E. presented mementos to the school representatives who won the Overall Champion Ship 1 st Position to IES-Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan, Abbasiya received by Mr. T. H. Premkumar, Principal,2 nd Position – Fahaheel Al-Watanieh Indian private School, Ahmadi received by Mr. A.S.Nageswara Rao, HOD, 3 rd Position- Learners Own Academy, Abbassiya received by Mr. Sasi Krishnan, HOD and C. Bhaskaran Memorial Trophy to United Indian School, Abbassiya received by Mr. T. Raveendran, the school from which maximum numbers of students were participated in this event, as a tribute to Late. Mr. C Bhaskaran, one of the founder and advisory board member of Kala (Art) Kuwait.The prizes distributed among, Five 1 st Prizes in to each group, Six 2 nd Prizes and Eight 3 rd prizes. Thefirst place winners of each group received a Gold coin & Gold medal, Second place winner with silver medal and Third place winner with bronze medal apart from memento, certificate and American Tourister Sponsored Bag. Panel of Judges Artist Sasi Krishnan, Artist M. V. John, Artist Sunil Kulanada and Artist Rajeesh P.Sudhina were honored by H. E. by giving mementos in recognition of their laudable contributions in the field of Arts.The event were coordinated and controlled by Kala (Art) Kuwait. President Mukesh V.
